William Shakespeare once wrote, “All the world is a stage.” So, it’s not a stretch to say that the theatrical arts are all around. From intimate venues to large performance halls, many places in the Sierra offer the chance to see a show. As a reformed actress (the highlight of my theatrical career included a performance as Orphan No. 76 during my high school’s production of the musical, Annie), I’m always keen to see a show or film. Beverages from the tap, of course, started with beer, and date back as far as the 17th century (possibly further). Originally, the beer was in wooden casks and gravity was the primary mode of conveyance.
