World-Class Gaming, Casual Luxury, Endless Dining and Relaxing Fun

Stretched over four city blocks, The Row is easily the largest and most well-known entertainment strip in town. And out of The Row’s different attractions, Eldorado Resort Casino is arguably the most underrated. Apart from the well-known 580-seat Eldorado Showroom which stages Broadway-style performances, what else can you find in this downtown Reno resort casino?
Stretched over four city blocks, The Row is easily the largest and most well-known entertainment strip in town.
These are the two words that best describe Eldorado, particularly in terms of its rooms, suites, and amenities. The rooms that guests can rent range from luxurious 250 square-foot hotel rooms to extravagant 650 to 1,500 square-foot suites.
This includes a one-bedroom spa suite for those looking for the ultimate relaxing holiday. There’s also a sizeable outdoor pool, electric charging stations for vehicles, and a Swarovski store.
Eldorado even has an interactive digital map that can allow you to better navigate these luxurious amenities, along with the resort casino’s gaming areas and restaurants.
A Hub for Dining and Relaxing Fun
Eldorado is also home to more than its fair share of good restaurants and nightspots in The Row. This includes Roxy and its selection of fine wines and sumptuous steaks. There’s also La Strada if you fancy Italian cuisine.
If you’re in need of a pick-me-up, look no further than Eldorado Coffee. Meanwhile, The Brew Brothers might be more up your alley if you’re thirsty for custom microbrews. This is just a handful of the dining and drinking options you can find in Eldorado.
Most recently, a Reno dining institution has made Eldorado its new home: Ichiban Japanese Steak House. “Ichiban is an excellent addition for our guests and a wonderful fit for our brand,” said Glenn Carano, General Manager of The Row, which manages not just Eldorado but also Silver Legacy Casino and Circus Circus Casino.
The brand new 11,000 square-foot Ichiban Japanese Steak House has 140 Teppanyaki-style seats, a sushi bar, as well as a cocktail bar.
A World-Class Casino: Challenges and Opportunities
As a casino, Eldorado is one of the most well-equipped establishments in the Biggest Little City in the World. Games on offer include over 1,000 slot machines, casino floor staples like roulette, baccarat, and blackjack, as well as the William Hill Sportsbook for bettors.
This part of Eldorado is also where you’ll find some of the best Texas Hold ‘Em poker players in town. Unfortunately, along with Reno’s other brick-and-mortar casinos, Eldorado and the rest of The Row took massive losses during the peak of the pandemic lockdowns.
This situation has been further exacerbated by the surge in business for physical casinos’ primary competition: digital casinos. With players unable to leave home or enter establishments, digital casinos as alternative gaming options skyrocketed in popularity during 2020.
Today, Statista pegs the market size of the global online gambling industry at $227 billion. It’s easy to see how this came about when you compare physical and digital online casinos.
Even as physical casinos have reopened recently, the risk of the pandemic and other issues have made their digital counterparts more palatable to players in the new normal. Furthermore, unlike physical casinos, their digital versions normally fit hundreds of games within single gaming portals.
From proprietary titles like Deal Or No Deal, Rick and Morty, and Monopoly Big Spin, to more generic ones like Rainbow Riches and Vegas Cash Spins, the variety of titles at popular gaming site FoxyBingo is impressive, to say the least.
More importantly, it offers a glimpse of what brick-and-mortar casinos are up against as digital gaming takes a larger and larger piece of the gaming pie – from the comfort of players’ homes. Although Eldorado’s roster of slots and casino floor games is also impressive, it simply can’t compare to the variety and sheer convenience offered by online gaming.
That being said, Eldorado and the rest of The Row are not taking this competition sitting down. On one hand, it’s true that digital casinos have huge parts of the market cornered. On the other hand, nothing compares to sinking into a luxurious hotel bed after a fun night out of gaming, dining, and drinking at Eldorado Resort and Casino.
